Maple Vanilla Almond Butter Blossoms Instructions
Preheat Oven to 375 degrees.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Beat butter until creamy.
Incorporate maple vanilla almond butter.
Add sugars and beat until creamed together.
Add vanilla, egg and milk then mix well.
Add flour, baking soda and salt on low speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.
Form all the cookie balls about 1 ¼ inches in diameter. Then roll in additional granulated sugar. This kind of assembly line method cuts down on time.
Place on pan and bake for 8 -9:30 minutes until tops begin to crack and they very lightly golden. Do Not overbake, you want centers to be on the moist chewy side.
Remove from oven and immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss in the center.
If using jam, stir jam to remove lumps ahead. When cookies come out of the oven, immediately make a thumbprint and spoon in jam.
Let cookies firm up a few minutes and then place on cooling rack.
Store in covered plastic containers for up to 10 days.
