The taste of orange will bring back memories of finding oranges in stockings on Christmas morning. These canapés are elegant in appearance, but are quick and effortless to make. Delight your guests and yourself with the flavors and appearance of these tasty party starters.

CREAMED RICOTTA AND ORANGE FIG JAM CROSTINI INGREDIENTS
12 slices of Roasted Garlic Loaf
Good quality Olive Oil for brushing
Salt and Pepper to taste
1½ cups Whole Milk Ricotta
Good quality Truffle Oil for drizzling
¾ cup Orange Fig Jam
Good quality Honey for drizzling
CREAMED RICOTTA AND ORANGE FIG JAM CROSTINI INSTRUCTIONS
Have bread sliced thinly by your bakery.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Lay bread slices on baking sheet covered with parchment.
Brush one side of bread slices with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
Bake for 3–5 minutes on each side until lightly golden.
Remove from oven and set aside to cool for at least 30 minutes.
Place ricotta in a small bowl and whip with a wired whisk.
Spread about 2 tablespoons of ricotta on each crostini.
Drizzle ricotta with a very small amount of truffle oil, only 1/8 to ¼ teaspoon for each.
Drizzle ricotta with a small amount of honey.
Top with two teaspoons of orange fig jam.
Serve immediately or keep chilled and bring to room temperature before serving.
