Autumn Stirrings
I love everything about autumn – the fall foliage, pumpkins, and the food! I am blessed with a beautiful view of the Farmington Connecticut Valley and I want to share its beauty. I invite company every weekend in the fall and make pies and fall fare.
I leave no pumpkin unturned. I plant lots of mums in the front of my house. Of course the urns have to have mums, pansies and little cabbages. I add some colorful gourds too.
I made a little pumpkin patch too for the babies to pick pumpkins. Mums, hay bales and scarecrows complete the scene.
The view of the valley is becoming a show of fall colors.
I feel the need to use my country dinner plates with animals. The children get such a kick out of them. Somehow fall and country go hand in hand.
Don’t forget the candy corn, real or wooden!
The color will only be around a couple of weeks so get out there and enjoy it, it just makes you smile!
