Cupcake, You’re a Firework!
It just takes a little time and effort for a festive and fun cupcake dessert for the 4th of July. Take you favorite recipe and frist with Vanilla Buttercream, plenty of it too. This is what make a cupcake with eating. My recipe for a generous and creamy frosting follows below.

Line your cupcake tins with any variation of red, white, and blue cupcake papers. I got these on sale at Sur La Table. I also picked up colored sprinkles because they remind me of fireworks. Katy Perry’s song has been going through my head all day.

Whatever recipe you use, make sure the cupcakes are cooled completely before frosting.

Vanilla Buttercream (This make a generous amount of frosting)
1 pound of Unsalted Butter
2 boxes of Confectioner’s Sugar
2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extra
2-4 tablespoons Heavy Cream

Let butter stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Cream butter and add Confectioner’s Sugar, vanilla and heavy cream until desired. Frost in variations you prefer and add anything that looks like fireworks, colored sugar, edible glitter…

The important thing is that you make the effort to BE Goddess and put a smile on everyone’s face!

Happy 4th of July!!!!
